Military Coup in Burma Elicits G7 Statement

The Group of 7 has released a Foreign Ministers’ Statement on Burma, which strongly condemns the fatal violence directed towards unarmed citizens who were peacefully protesting the military coup. Three protestors were killed by security forces.
