Agriculture Department Proposes Increase in the Import Fee on Cotton and Cotton-Containing Products

On August 17, 2018, the Agriculture Department’s Agricultural Marketing Service published a notice in the Federal Register that amends the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations to increase the value assigned to imported cotton for the purposes of calculating supplemental assessments for the Cotton Research & Promotion Program.
