ITC Votes to Continue Dumping and CVD Investigation of Polyester Fiber from China, India, Korea, and Taiwan

On July 14, 2017, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) announced they have determined that there is a “reasonable indication” the U.S. industry is being materially harmed by imports of fine denier polyester staple fiber from China, India, Korea, and Taiwan that are allegedly sold in the U.S. at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of China and India.
